Nodum Architectural millwork

Services

Four things, done properly.

Not a catalogue. If a job needs something outside this list we will say so rather than learn on your project.

Walnut slat wall running behind a blue canvas, beside a marble panel 01

Wall panelling

Slatted and flat walnut, veneer-matched across a whole elevation so the grain runs continuously through corners, returns and door leaves.

  • Sequenced veneer
  • Continuous grain at corners
  • Cove and grazing light
Flush walnut door sitting in a panelled wall with no architrave 02

Concealed doors

Flush leaves with no architrave and no visible frame. Closed, the opening reads as wall. Service and electrical panels disappear the same way.

  • Hidden frames
  • Invisible hinges
  • Panel-matched leaves
Backlit display cabinet with brass shelves against a marble back 03

Lit cabinetry

Display cabinets and shelving with the light buried in the carcass, so every shelf is lit and the fitting itself never appears.

  • Integrated drivers
  • Brass and glass shelves
  • Backlit stone
Lift lobby where grey marble meets walnut slats on a butt joint 04

Stone and wood

Marble and walnut meeting on a butt joint, with no bead or trim covering the transition. It only works if both are cut right.

  • Mitred stone returns
  • Dry butt joints
  • Book-matched slabs

All four are in the same room. Walk through Marea

Materials

What it is actually made of.

All of it is sprayed in our own booth, so colour and sheen match between the panels, the doors and the loose pieces.

Process

How a job runs.

  1. 01 Drawings You send plans and elevations. We return shop drawings with every detail resolved, and a fixed price against them.
  2. 02 Machining Sheets are cut and edged in our shop. Veneer is matched across the whole elevation before anything is assembled.
  3. 03 Finishing Spray finishing in-house, so colour and sheen match between the panels, the doors and the loose pieces.
  4. 04 Install Our own fitters, scribing on site. The tolerance you saw on the drawing is the one that gets built.
